Petopia is an independent website for pet owners, whether you share your home with a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a hamster, a bird, fish or a turtle. We build free, simple tools and write practical guides for everyday questions: how old is my pet in human years, how much should it eat, is this food safe, and where can we go for a walk?
What we publish

- Guides written in plain language, in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
How we check information
- Formulas and health-related thresholds come from published veterinary research, professional guidelines or other reputable sources, which we cite on each page.
- When a simple estimate has important limits, we say so on the page.
- We review and update pages when better information becomes available. If you find a mistake, please tell us.
